E Netherfield Ball Elizabeth does not like the disagreeable Mr Darcy but when an evening of dancing and fun erupts in unexpected violence the gentleman might be her only hope Darcy has spent his life avoiding scandal and he refuses to allow Elizabeth to be ruined by vicious gossi. DelightfulDelightful I love a bolder Darcy and the author's take on Elizabeth's sweet and arch full temperament was wonderfully explored I've enjoined all of Ms Sarah's stories

In Darcys Dreams“The fact remains Lizzy A duel was fought last night at the Netherfield Ball A duel over your honor And all I want to know is which of these gentlemen have stolen it” Based on the classic novel by Jane Austen a story that asks what would have happened if Wickham had gone to th. Loved itThis is a book filled with substance and deep emotions that move the reader even though you can guess what the eventual outcome might be The story explores one little change in circumstance from the original book which is Wickham being convinced by Elizabeth to attend the Netherfield ball and the profound effect this can have on so many lives As in PP Darcy is fascinated by Elizabeth she dislikes him but believes Wickham 's lies and Darcy is trying to convince himself to give her up However an event occurs at the ball that changes everything for all three of them It becomes the catalyst for much introspection and soul searching for ODCThe writing is beautiful and takes care to develop each situation properly so that the reader can be truly invested in the story Nothing is glossed over and small details become very important The author seems to sense which people and places deserve attention and which need only a slight touch There are inclusions of text from the original book but not so many that it becomes annoying She is a talented storyteller and I recommend the book
