RTC But oh that was goooooodI felt like the relationships were much healthier here though of course with unhealthy moments and Olive seems to have grown as a person both since we left off in the last book and through the duration of this oneThere were some particularly coincidental andor cliched moments the love triangle alluded to in the blurb and Olive's occasional mopey and bitter moments but you know what I enjoyed every moment of it I laughed out loud uite a bit and had a proper cry at one pointDefinitely going to be reading anything this author puts out

Kneecaps and her best friend Felix falls for a girl who is inexcusably English Olive must juggle her friends and untangle her feelings for Dillon and Tom while her hunt for the truth lures her from the peaks of the Himalayas to the purr of New York City climaxing on the stark Irish shore where Olive implausibly intends to break the curse for once and for all. It was a delight to read this story of feisty invisible Olive and her journey of self discovery It was surprising funny wise and poignant I loved it The YA themes are subtle enough for readers at the younger end of this genre I'd love to see this as a film only problem is how do you portray an invisible character

ARCRC kindly provided by Harper Collins in exchange for an honest reviewTonya Alexandra’s seuel to The Impossible Story of Olive in Love is a lighthearted and romantic novel that follows 19 year old invisible and heartbroken Olive Banks around the world on a holiday with her best friend Jordan The novel interweaves a couple of YA tropes with loveable but flawed characters who all ultimately assist in helping Olive learn to love herself despite her appearance or lack thereofI was initially concerned that I would not be able to understand the plot of the story as I have not yet read the first book of the series However the setting characters and backstory were clearly and beautifully described while any links to the previous novel were explained in such a way that one could assume the seuel was a stand alone storyAlexandra’s latest release was incredibly captivating and a very enjoyable novel to read The themes were fairly mild and focused on the concepts of self love acceptance and family with a decent amount of angst and heartache to balance it outOne thing I did not enjoy was the irregular movement of the plot and character development Some parts of the story felt unnatural and forced especially as the story progressed The moral of the ending was nice however the rushed pace disrupted what could have been a very beautiful close to the story Despite this fact I would happily overlook my view on the ending and read this novel again as a light and fun read between darker textsThe Implausible Story of Olive Far Far Away by Tonya Alexandra is a bright and imaginative novel that I personally enjoyed and connected to With grand settings uirky characters and a little bit of YA angst it was a pleasure to read
