Chambers Ppens to be with a certain beautiful and intriguing nonbinary person well Parker’s just going to roll with it Anything contrary to his past life is a good thing Mal and Parker keep surprising each other every time they meet Despite their differences neither has any interest in fighting their attraction But when circumstances threaten to keep them apart the couple must decide if that attraction is enough to overcome the obstacles they face. A Joyfully Jay review 425 starsOnly See You is the second book in JD Chambers’ Only Colorado series I really enjoyed the first book Only with You and have been eager to continue with the series So when I saw this book featured a non binary character it seemed like a great time to pick it up for Diverse Books Week in our Reading Challenge MonthI really enjoyed Parker and Mal together They seem to fit together so easily and naturally despite differences in their personalities Mal has known who they are for a long time and learned not to compromise that for anyone They are often judged negatively for being non binary and Mal refuses to care what others might think Parker on the other hand has drifted along in his life on the tide of other people’s expectations and desires At the end of the last book Parker sort of wakes up and realizes what a mess his marriage and his life have become and here we see him taking steps to start fresh So learning to reach for what he wants and not what others expect takes somewhat of a learning curve and he doesn’t always succeed at first But I think Parker has a nice journey over the course of this story and I enjoyed seeing him reach a place of willing to stand up for himself while still being a caring and considerate guyRead Jay’s review in its entirety here

I'm really enjoying this series The author does a great job of combining fun sexy times and drama Having met both characters in the first book it's easy to jump right into the story I loved how Parker just accepts Mal for who they are and accepts his unexpected attraction What I didn't like is how he pretty much let Shelby walk all over him just for the sake of getting rid of her He also has to deal with some serious family issues that throw a wrench into his future plansMal is confident in their skin but that doesn't mean things just bounce off of them I was hoping they would take a little of a stand when things go bad for them at work but that was just a minor uibble I enjoyed their attitude and their realistic view of things With that being said I was hoping for a little time with Mal and Parker working through things but as in life there is plenty going on with both characters outside of their newfound romance The story moved along uickly and I enjoyed seeing Zach and Craig again and how everyone thinks that they must have the most boring sex life ever than I enjoyed seeing Zach's horrible mother but even that was a bit of funI'm looking forward to the next book and am hoping at some point Ben gets his story told too

Only See YouEup while discussing their latest rock climbing trip to the wish list Is that really too much to ask “Here I am at twenty seven embarking on life version 20” Parker McWilliams is breaking free from the constraints of his former life and wife He’s recapturing his zest to try new things and experience everything to the fullest instead of the complacency he had fallen into over the past nine years If one of those “new experiences” ha. This is my first time I read about a nonbinary person I needed some adjustment about the mentioning 'them and person' for Mal But it seemed I was adjusted just fineI liked Mal a lot they know themselves go for it They didn't give a damn about what people see on themGood thing then they met Parker Oh that sweet Parker he's such a gem I liked how he really care about Mal's feeling This is a heartwarming and an eye opening that some people still struggled and there are people out there who really care I enjoyed Mal and parker's relationship dynamic this one is something that you won't missRecommended
