reader ¿ Without Warning ↠ Paperback read ¾ moneyexpresscard ☆ Katie Singleton a partner with the Elite Guardians Protection Agency stumbles upon her next assignment uite by accident Spotting blue lights at a familiar restaurant she stops to investigate only to discover that owner Daniel MatthewsAt that is necessary A new attack and his niece's urgings are enough to make him reconsider He and Katie must figure out who's behind the intimidation and threats before a would be killer strikes again I am a huge fan of Lynette Eason's books I've read all of her Revell titles to date and all but nine of her Love Inspired Suspense titles After really enjoying the first book in the series Always Watching earlier this year it is putting it mildly to say that I was eagerly anticipating the release of this second book And I was most definitely not disappointed this book was phenomenal Katie was my favorite character in Always Watching so I was so excited to get to read her story my heart broke for all that had happened in her past Being a hands on renovationconstruction guru myself I loved that Katie had a passion renovating her house Daniel was a fantastic hero I loved his protectiveness kindness and determination he was just an all around amazing man I also loved the fact that he was a pilot and had his own plane even though I myself am absolutely terrified of flying I always find it fascinating to read about characters that love to fly I also loved Daniel's niece Riley she was just such an awesome character she reminded me a lot of myself at her age One of my favorite things about Lynette's books is the suspense in them and the suspense in this one was beyond amazing I love to play detective when I read one of Lynette's books to see if I can figure out who the villains isare before it is revealed in the story and with this one I am delighted to say that I pegged one of the villains from the first time they entered the story Love it when that happens but the identity of the other villain was a total shock to me I did not see it coming Everything combined to make this a story that I absolutely loved and hated to put down this book has a permanent spot on my keeper shelf and will go down as one of my all time favorite books by Lynette I highly recommend this book and cannot wait for book three I was honored to receive a free copy of this amazing book from the author and Revell publishers in exchange for helping to promote it

Katie Singleton a partner with the Elite Guardians Protection Agency stumbles upon her next assignment uite by accident Spotting blue lights at a familiar restaurant she stops to investigate only to dis I really enjoyed this second book in the Elite Guardians series by Lynette Eason I'm never disappointed when I read her books With lots of action suspense and danger this is a fast paced romantic suspense story that will keep you on the edge of your seat I did some guessing on who the bad guy was and was half right DDaniel is such a good strong male character He's a great boss has taken in his niece to raise and is a Marine so he has the ability to focus and think clearly in crisis mode And although he has the basic instinct to want to take charge and be the one who protects everyone he's good about recognizing that Katie has skills of her own and can handle the pressure I loved Katie and Daniel's relationship and how it develops naturally throughout the storyKatie is also a strong character with plenty of training to carry her through her body guard assignments However she's also working through a tragedy from her past that has caused her to leave her chosen field and work as a body guard After being hired by Daniel's niece to guard him she finds herself facing her biggest fear and turning to the only One who can get her through itDaniel's niece Riley was also a wonderful character For a teenager Riley has a lot of common sense and is very mature Having been forced to grow up fast due to her parents dying Riley is very concerned about losing her uncle After hiring the bodyguards she continues to have an active role in what's happening I loved her faith and how she gently pushes her uncle to come back to his faithIf you like romantic suspense you won't want to miss the books in this series I can't wait to read the third bookThanks to Revell Reads for a complimentary copy of this book for review purposes I was not reuired to write a positive review and all opinions stated are my own

Without WarningCover that owner Daniel Matthews has become the target of someone who will go to any lengths to put him out of business Daniel might be concerned but he's not convinced that a bodyguard and a female one This was one of those books that I couldn't put down I had brought it with me to work to read over my lunch breaks but soon found that I didn't want my break to end because the book was THAT good We meet Katie in the first book where she is one of the bodyguards assigned to the case But this time it's her story We get to know about Katie and what makes her who she is I loved her relationship with Daniel as well He really understood her And she understood him I can't wait to read the third one in the series I received this book for free from Revell Books for the purpose of reviewing My thoughts and opinions are my ownRecommended to fans of Lynette Eason Irene Hannon Dani Pettrey romantic suspenseRating 5 stars
