PDF Ô BOOK Cannon A Step Brother Romance #3 FREE Ú SABRINA PAIGE ☆ Hendrix Cannon Cole is a major Dck That's Dck with a capital DHe's nicknamed Cannon because of the weapon between his legsHe's damaged dirty and demanding A sexy as fck ex MarineMy stepbrotherI used to hate him Then I loved him Then I hatS new job is making sure I behaveWhat I didn't count on was being stuck spending every waking moment with himThe heat between us is explosive But if he fires that cannon we'll both get burnedThis is a standalone novel with a HEA RATING 3 Hearts Cannon might not be a perfect step brother romance read but at least it is a huge step up from the previous book in this series A straightforward plot likeable characters some angst a bevy of sexy scenes non convoluted drama and a pinch of emotions – all combine to deliver this satisfactory read The story arc for this series runs the same the bad boy and good girl falling in love and the proverbial misunderstandingmiscommunication to round out the drama And yet the simplicity in the plot never gets old rather a welcome additionHendrix “Cannon” Cole is the typical ex military alpha male and Addison “Addy” Stone is the typical does everything to please parents country singer with a feisty side While the plot and characters are nothing original the “different” in this comes with the addition of the past present back and forth giving us Hendrix and Addy’s back story as well as solidifying their present story with well needed emotions Hendrix and Addy as a couple are the highlight of this story their romance littered with angst and sexual tension which builds to some very steamy sex scenes “We’ll live our version of happily ever after And that’s enough” While this is enjoyable for the most part some elements took away from that enjoyment Most notably the lack of character development and the hero’s past not being explored in detail instead it is just plainly stated There are references to Hendrix suffering from PTSD but there is no build up to it and no scenes showing the struggles of such a condition The emotional set up would have been far intricate had Ms Paige delved into this aspect furtherOverall Cannon is a fun and light read with a nice albeit predictable ending Despite the mediocrity of the series it does end on a positive note hence the possibility of future Sabrina Paige reads for me Posted June 30 2015

Cannon A Step Brother Romance #3Then I hated him againOur history is complicated But my family thinks he's the perfect solution to my problem A scandal has thrown me into the limelight and I'll be screwed if I don't stay on the straight and narrow Now Hendrix' First off all I must say that this is the best book in this series so far I know I said the same thing about Tool but what can I do Things keep getting better and better D Hendrix Cannon Cole is an Ex Marine yesdrool worthyI know P that comes back home after five years and has to babysit his stepsister and be her personal bodyguard The ladies call him CannonI wonder why is that P Addison Stone is a famous country singer that was made a star at an early age After she makes a few poor choices she finds herself stuck with her infuriating stepbrother as her bodyguarda guy she hates very muchor that's what she keeps telling herself The action from the book keeps going between the present and the pastso we get the whole picture off their relationship and how they ended up hereAlthough this is a pretty standard stepbrother romance what I loved the most was how mature the characters seemed even if they had their childish moments They didn't have the whole forbidden love thing that is usual for this type of books but of a I'm not good enoughhe doesn't feel the same wayshe's to young hang upsAlso there was no big break upfightrun at the end They get busted literally in the middle of some steamy stuff and from then on they own it and don't beat themselves up And of course they live happily ever after D ARC generously provided by the author in exchange for an honest review
